    Seattle Office of Labor Standards 开启 Domestic Worker’s Ordinance 的公共立法流程

    西雅图(2019 年 3 月 6 日) — Office of Labor Standards(OLS,劳工标准办公室)宣布开始其对 Domestic Workers Ordinance (家政从业人员条例)的行政法规制定流程。该等法规将厘清条例的涵义及适用范围,例如涵盖范围及法律责任、如何获得休息,以及法律中没有特别解释的其他事项。

     

    去年,西雅图市成为第一个颁布 Domestic Workers Bill of Rights (家政从业人员权利法案)的城市,该法案将于 2019 年 7 月 1 日生效,其中包括家政从业人员获得最低工资以及休息和用餐时间的相关规定。

     

    立法流程将包括收集家政从业人员、家庭、其他雇用实体和社区组织的反馈。Office of Labor Standards 将于三月末开始举行利益相关者会议并将根据需求提供翻译和儿童看护。拟议的法规将于六月底向公众征求意见。最终法规预计将于十月份公布,并将于今年年底生效。
